Family

Many of my customers know me personally. I am a simple retiree that enjoys creating and making a little money on the side with my website and business. This blog is personal, but when one is a small business owner, life can create stumbling blocks to misdirect your purpose, whether it is a business, goal in life, to run a marathon, etc. My Dad is 92 and has been hospitalized going on two months. When this type of event happens to a family, you either become stronger or you give in to defeat as in ditching your goals. I am very fortunate to have a brother that shares the duty of taking care of Dad. He works full time, which places me at the hospital during the day 6 out of 7 days each week. With an online business, I am able to create from a computer, market and respond to customer questions. The challenging part is to fill orders which requires shop time. I deeply respect small business owners that rely on the business full time. It doesn't take much to upend your business with life events such as this. I want to thank each and every customer, friend or family that has our family in your prayers. I am a Christian and know miracles can happen, but I also know whatever God allows is for reasons we don't always know. We cherish each moment of hope and we have a peace inside of us to know whatever happens, God is our creator and Dad with be in heaven whenever the Lord takes him. Thank you for reading this post.
